The Institute of Sociology at the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences has successfully completed the Horizon 2020 project “Gender-based violence and institutional response: Building a knowledge base and operational tools to make universities and research organizations safe (UniSAFE)”. The implementation period for the project ran from 02/01/2020 to 01/31/2024. The project involved dr. Vilana Pilinkaitė Sotirovič (the head of the project at the Institute of Sociology) and dr. Giedrė Blažytė.
The aim of the project was to enhance knowledge about gender-based violence in universities and research institutes and to translate this knowledge into effective tools and recommendations for policy and practice of higher education and research institutions.
