Invitation to submit an abstract for conference “Regional Outcomes of Global Challenges in the Nordic Countries”

The 9th NoRSA Conference “Regional Outcomes of Global Challenges in the Nordic
Countries”
organized by the Institute of Sociology at the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, in
partnership with Vilnius University and Nordic division of RSA will take place in Vilnius on the
2nd and 3rd of May 2024. The event aims to strengthen cooperation and knowledge exchange
between researchers from the Nordic States represented in the Nordic Council of Regional Studies
Association (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden).

The 9th NoRSA Conference presents an opportunity to discuss and debate most recent issues related
to regional studies and regional policy and to develop links for future cooperation. The conference
organisers are keen to attract papers, which identify new fields of enquiry, address broad research
agendas at local and regional levels. Papers which are highly innovative, collaborative, international
or multi-disciplinary are especially welcome.

Abstracts of up to 250 words must be submitted by 12th February, 2024, via the online form that can

The 9th NoRSA Conference will take place face-to-face only. Registration to the conference is
